Step by step
Drive into the swap bay, align with the floor markers and put the car in park. The system takes over: the vehicle is lifted slightly, the old battery is removed from underneath, a fully charged unit is installed and the car is lowered. The dashboard confirms the new battery state of charge and you drive away.

Limitations
Swap stations are not as ubiquitous as petrol stations yet, and the system only works with Nio vehicles. For daily commuting within Singapore, one swap per week is more than sufficient.
